The 2010 RWT Photographic Competition
Results
The 2010 RWT Photographic Competition was judged at the Woods Festival and the entries displayed on Willow Lawn. Thank you to everyone who entered. Thank you also to Steve Pash who had the difficult task of picking a winner.
There was a very strong field of entries for this year's Photographic Competition. The theme for this year’s competition was : “Ruislip Woods - Escape the city”. This brief was interpreted in a number of interesting ways. The winner of first prize was Carol Furness for a beautiful picture of one of the lakes. She was awarded a cash prize of £100 and the Dorris Dismore plate to display on her mantelpiece for one year.

2nd prize of £50 went to Margaret Massey for another beautiful picture of the woods in winter.

3rd prize of £25 went to Dave Peters for a picture of a bowler hatted City Gent in the woods.
Judging was an exceptionally difficult task as there were so many excellent entries. If this year's competition has inspired you, don't forget to keep your camera at the ready when you visit Ruislip Woods. We are currently thinking of a theme for next year's competition, so watch this space as it will be announced soon.
