The 2009 RWT Photographic Competition
The theme of this year’s competition was “Spring in Ruislip Woods” and there was a record number of entries which were all exhibited on Festival Day. The display was put together by Mr and Mrs Massey and the Trust would like to thank them for all their hard work. This year the judge was John Maw, a lecturer in photography as well as a photographer himself. After some deliberation he chose Valerie Walker’s photo as the winner. Second prize went to Debbie Esson and third to Helena Stride.
The theme of next year’s competition will be announced in the next newsletter. However, we would love to see some autumn photos in the entries this year so don’t forget your cameras on your autumn walks.
